Mets' infielder Al Weis has personally hand-signed this MLB baseball and inscribed it "Mets 4, Orioles 1"-Weis was a member of the shocking 1969 Miracle Mets. Weis' role in this World Series proved to be a big one because he victimized Orioles' starter Dave McNally on several occasions during the 69 World Series. First, his top-of-the-ninth single scored Ed Charles with the winning run in a 2-1 victory. In game 5 at Shea Stadium, Weis homered off McNally in the seventh to tie the game 3-3 which led the Mets to score in the bottom of the eighth to seal their World Series win.
