Gun Sights and Optics

A few of us here in the Woot Seattle office have recently taken up hunting, and that means going through the belittling experience of taking a hunter safety class with a bunch of middle schoolers. But it has taught us that seeing your quarry before you shoot it is important. Use the binoculars. Then use the scope.

Scopes are mostly used as excuses for why you missed a shot. "Huh, I coulda sworn I sighted in my rifle, but obviously it's off."
