Skate or Die
Day 16
It's taken more than two weeks, but I believe I have now gained the trust of those six jerk kids at the skate park. I have sacrificed so much for this, my greatest assignment, but a mall security guard takes the oath and never looks back. I am still probably pretty decently sure that these are the kids who spray painted the word "BOOBS" on the Lady Foot Locker so long ago. Soon I'll have answers. Soon I'll have justice.
I'm starting to worry I've been in too deep for too long. I purchased a Razor RipStik casterboard to fit in. With its twisting motion recreating the motion of surfing or snowboarding, I was able to venture into the skate park and live amongst them. I even shaved my goatee, God forgive me, to make myself look younger. I've burned out my olfactory nerve with Axe Body Spray.
I've slowly worked my way through their ranks and befriended the group's leader, Cody. He's a wiry, dark-haired boy of about 14. Soon I will have him confessing his crimes into my backwards baseball cap/hidden microphone. I may have lost a piece of myself out here under cover, but it will all be worth it if I can bring peace to the mall.
