Backpacks Within Backpacks

Three sizes, so you can do a Russian-nesting-doll thing but with backpacks.

Hi, my name’s Craig, and I’m addicted to miniature backpacks.

It wasn’t always this way. I used to have just one miniature backpack, like most reasonable people. I’d use it to carry around my miniature sleeping bags, miniature snacks, and miniature water bottles. You know, the normal things one uses a miniature backpack for.

But soon it wasn’t enough.

At first I said I’d just get the one more. Nothing wrong with having a backup, right? Then came the third. A backup for the backup, if you will. You know, just in case - you can never be too careful. At least that’s what I told myself. By the time I got up to my twentieth, I had long since stopped trying to come up with excuses. By then Janet was gone, and the kids wanted nothing to do with me. I lost my friends, my family, everything I once held dear.

Being addicted to miniature backpacks has been rough, but I’m happy to report that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. No, I haven’t given up my miniature backpack collection. But I have purchased a couple High Sierra external frame full-size backpacks. With the Foxhound 50 liter model, I can pack in my whole collection of miniatures. The Badger 40 lets me carry a curated selection of mini-backpacks when I want to travel light. And now that I have the Bobcat 65, too, I have such an excess of space that I won’t ever have to stop growing my collection!

Oh, also I’ve been drinking a ton.
