Poll: Do you like following the personal lives of professional athletes?
  • 1.8% - Of course! I need to know if Tony Romo’s relationship issues will affect his performance! 22
  • 4% - Yeah! It helps relate to them, and it’s cool to see famous athletes as regular people. 48
  • 32.7% - No, I’m only interested in their performance on the field. They don’t owe me anything after that. 392
  • 38% - No. I don’t care about sports much in the first place. 455
  • 23.4% - No, only because it inevitably leads to disappointment with how dumb/opinionated/evil they are. 280

Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

I wouldn't say that I "like" following their personal lives, but it does make it easier to root for "my" teams if its players aren't habitually being arrested and/or being a jerk in general.
