You can find hanging eqpt from a place like REI (or online) that doesn't require a screw or bolt.. Just wrap it around the tree or post at each end, cinch it and hang hammock from the hooks, such as those from ENO:

This hammock looks like it will work. Camping-wise woot as been good to me.

Is 6'8 the distance between the hooks or the length of the hammock fabric?
I'm trying to figure out if I can use this with my hammock stand.

With a weight capacity of only 265lbs, it couldn't even hold honey boo boo's mom... let alone my girlfriend.

This would be great for me...if I had real trees in my backyard. Stupid suburbs with their skinny trees.

Better put those eye bolts in at an upward angle and not straight in.. They don't look like they'd hold 265lbs..
