I bought these on the last go around and enjoy them. I'm 6'3" 230, and had to make a bag voltron, but nonetheless can't go wrong with the price point...

1.8LB for both or just one?

Bought these when they came up for sale a few weeks ago and they are decent sleeping bags for the money. Now, I do have to say that if you are questioning if you would fit in one of these bags, the answer is already a no. Good for teens and skinny guys but for those of us who are of the larger persuasion, definitely a no-go unless you zip both together.

How durable are these bivvy sacks? Do they have any ripstop type material?

I don't see a need for mummy style if the bag is rated for 50+.

how are they on hight? I am 6'0". Would these fit me? Or would it be like other bags where the zippers come up to my nipples and leave my head and shoulders out in the cold?

Thank you. Also way to heavy for me, I'll pass on this.

They are actually pretty long, it's just width they lack. I think you'd be fine at 6', as long as you're not also burly. If you are, zip them together!

I had one of these on at 55 and was sweating, so 50F is really subjective. I'm 6'0 and 200# and I fit just fine into it. At $10 a bag it's well worth the money, but don't expect to be camping in the cold.

The zippers are opposing so they do zip together to make a nice cuddle bag.

I bought these a while back all i can say is they are great for kids sleeping over or camping in the basement. They are only good to 50 degrees so they are not warm enough for spring, fall and winter camping. Summers are miserable because they are just a nylon shell with no liner so you are sweaty and stick to the bag. Why you would want a mummy hood on a bag rated to 50 degrees is a mystery too.

I bought two of these last time also. I'm 5'10 tall and 200lbs. I could get into one of these but it was a little tricky and I didn't have much room to move around once I was in it. I understand these style of bag are not meant to be roomy but it was a little more snug than I expected. Don't get me wrong, in a pinch I could definitely sleep in just one of them but I don't know how comfortable it would be. I can always zip them together and make a big one if I had to. The quality was pretty good especially for the price.

since these are warm weather bags, i just left the top open and I fit ok, shoved a shirt in the carry bag for a pillow. I just like the bag around me feet when camping to keep the critters out.

I probably won't be buying these as I already have a 0 degree REI mummy bag, but for those of you who do who are concerned about the 50 degree rating or the inside material being uncomfortable, just get a cotton liner to use on warm days and a silk liner on cold days. A silk liner should add at least 9 degrees to the warmth of the bag. A cotton liner will add about 4 degrees to the warmth of the bag. Either liner will protect the bag from the oils and sweat from your skin and will be much easier to wash than a fragile mummy bag is.

If you find your sleeping bag is still a bit cool even after adding a silk liner, wear at least one hat while sleeping. I normally stuff two hats into my backpack where I keep my sleeping bag and Thermarest pillow. If I'm camping at high elevations in the summer or when it's a little cold out, I'll wear one hat. If I'm still cold, I'll put on the second one.

Got these recently from woot! These will make great all purpose bags. Unless its going to be really cold, these will be fine. They pack small and light. Perfect for kids too.

They zip together to make a big bag and also make a great liner for a lower temp rated bag if it's really cold.

I bought a couple similar (same?) sets a couple years back. I keep a pair in both vehicles as emergency gear, and use them for warm weather bags as well. If it gets nippy, I just put a bag in my bag so I can sleep while I, um bag?

Anyhow, they seem to be well worth the money, as long as you recognize they are pretty light duty.

I bought a pair during the last woot a few weeks ago. If I had the chance to return them, I definitely would. Although they are OK for 10 USD each, I was expecting the same great quality I have experienced with every woot in the past.

If you were expecting a good looking product, like the bags in the picture, be warned that you will not get anyhing like that. The ones I got look rather cheap.

This is definitely not a deal nor a bargain. What you pay for this bags is what you get.

seems like I've seen these somewhere before, a couple of days ago. Explains why when I bought something from a different website that it came in a woot box.

Bought 4 last time. I received 3 of one hand and 1 of the other, though, so that kinda sucks...

Me: 6'3" 210lbs, zip 2 together, fit OK. When zipped together you get 2 feet pouches which is a little weird.

Wife: 5"1' 110lbs, 1 bag isn't quite wide enough for her because she can't move her legs around like she wants to.

Son: 3' 37lbs, 1 bag is perfect, kinda long, ha.

Spent a couple nights out in 50* weather this past weekend with them. Went shirtless the first night and was sticking to the bag. Next night wore a t-shirt, much better. The material is definitely the kinda that is slick and sticky on skin. A liner would be a good idea. Packs very small and easily. For < 10/bag, it's a deal.

I believe these where made out to serve two purposes, 1 - good for warm weather sleeping bag if you are going to use it by itself and 2 - It can be used as a liner (since it's so thin) too add about 30 degrees of warmth to any existing sleeping bag.

I bought two last time and I tried it as a liner with my 15 degrees bags and they fit perfectly and add the warmth to it.

Do they have a nylon bag with pull string to stuff them in for storage?

[MOD: Yes. You can see the picture of them on the detail page]

In for one pack of two. I mainly camp in the summer but a couple of years ago the temp suddenly dropped from a daytime high of 100+ to around 50 degrees that night. It's the temp difference that really counts not the number--believe me--everyone felt cold. So now I have a summer bag and liner for my cold weather bag plus a spare for the bug out bag.

I bought these last time around. They are comfortable and a real good deal, but they are also pretty tight across the shoulders. I'm only 5'8" and measure about 53" around the shoulders and the bag was pretty binding when zipped all the way up.

Bought these last time. As others have said, there a bit narrow, but serviceable. I think the biggest long term draw back to these bags is the lack of baffling of the insulation. Basically the insulation isn't sewn to the liner at all and at some point the insulation is going to bunch up and give you cold spots. So this is basically a sleep over bag, not a camping bag. It could work as a camping bag, but you'd only use it in situations where you'd probably be better off with a thin blanket.

1 bought 2 of these a month or so ago. I am an avid outdoorsmen and camp a lot. If you understand what you are getting these are a great deal. If not you will be disappointed. It's a cheap 1 to 3 season sleeping bag. At a minimum they are good for RVs, tents and summer and warm fall w a pad, back yard camping, and your drunk friend bob to sleep on the couch/floor. If you are hot natured like I am they are full 3 season bag that need an extra blanket in the winter. Took these camping in the mountains a few weeks ago. Too hot for me at night but was great unzipped. Wife is always cold and loved it at night. As it gets cooler she can use this as a bag liner or with an extra blanket. They do zip together but it's a really awkward fit for 2 people in mummy bags. I'm a big guy,v5'10 and 250. It's tight around the arms but doable, any bigger (weight) and your arms wont fit. Up to about 6 ft or 6'2 would be ok. These are really small, about the size of a loaf of bread. I got them to do backpacking on the cheap and they are perfect for that. The stuff sack will last a season or two then will probably rip. overall a great buy for the price. I am getting some extras for my GHB/BOB and to have around for guests.

I was sadly disappointed with these bags when I bought them a week ago for camping in the mountains. It took 2 zipped together to cover one adult and there were 2 of us. I'll be selling mine as I cannot use them.

I got these last time they were up, and we like them, but they can't be zipped together. Woot never said anything about the opposite pair, it's just what they showed in the pic, but we got 2 lefts, so... no zipping together. Which was one of the reasons, besides the price, I went for it, as the REI 15 degree bags are much too warm to zip up with someone who doubles as a human furnace sometimes. If you were counting on that for yourself, you'd be really sorry.

Also the stuff sacks are not reinforced, so they won't last. Not that that matters, as that can be replaced with something better if you like the bag.

We haven't used them yet "in the field," so I couldn't say if the rating is helpful.

Bought this pair last 2-for-tuesday and just used one for the first time this weekend. The weather was still pretty warm, and I was in a tent so I had the zipper most of the way down. I slept great and enjoyed the hood. Also, you can't beat the small compact size of the stuffed bag. I would definitely recommend these for summer/fall camping.

Got 4 last time they were up.

They are light weight and compact sleeping bags.

I bought them for summer camping and since they are small, a couple to keep in the vehicles for emergencies.

Well worth the 10 a'peice...
