Depends on the block(er). It is not as spectacular seeing Dwight Howard block a mid-range jump shot as it is to see Russell Westbrook jumping out of nowhere to send a ball flying up to the 10th row.

Although, KG's blocks after the whistle are some of my favorites. His usual utterance of "Get that sh*t out of here." always makes me smile.

I love a skillful blocked shot that deflects to one of the defensive players teammates and starts a fast break in the other direction.

I can't stand it when a guy slaps an easy block 10 rows deep and give the other team the ball right back with a chance to score. I imagine they are thinking "YEAH! That'll intimidate 'em!" You know what is really intimidating? Taking the ball and scoring with it. Not beating your chest and giving them the ball back to get another chance to score on you.

Being as the seasons is now 14 months long - and hence completely inescapable - there is nothing exciting about basketball at all anymore.

While I doubt many others watch "The Cleveland Show" (descended from "Family Guy"), I thought he was joking when he lampooned the NBA all-star game having a score of 220 - 198. Then I saw the score of this year's all-star game and realized he wasn't far off.

Basketball is almost boring enough to make me want to watch wrestling.

I also find it annoying that basketball games are almost never decided by more than 10% of the winning team's score. They play for that long and can't reach a decisive score, even at their salaries?

why should absolute values of salary have anything to do with winning margin? if the two teams are highly skilled but evenly matched, why should the score have a large differential? one could argue that salaries ought to be based on a player's entertainment value, and as close games are more entertaining, the highest salary should be paid to the players that play games with the smallest margins of victory/defeat.
