The sports are great, but the talking and commercials, oh my f**king god.....

If it wasn't for the live streaming, I wouldn't have watched much.

Social networking needs to stay in the sandbox and let the athletes and their performance speak for themselves. NBC may be a million times better at broadcasting sports than Fox, but hell they need shut the f**k up.

Additionally, can we see the scores? NBC kept showing the reactions to scores in gymnastics without ever showing them. (I had muted the yapping). There are some great technologies like picture in picture and on-screen graphics...

I am so happy to see that nearly one quarter of the people here (as of this post) just didn't watch the Olympics. Rock on, my enlightened brothers and sisters!

Sad that I can't watch the Olympics. I don't have satellite/cable, so I can't stream live coverage from NBC's website. And I don't have an antenna to get local channels the old-fashioned way.

I have been Amazed, Astounded, and just in Awe of all of the athletes this year! just WOW! so many Olympic and World records broken/set this year and I'm just like... "how FAST does a human body need to run or swim?! how much faster can it go?!" Just incredible!

oh, and USA! USA! USA!!!

How short can that kind of performance make an athlete's healthy life?

Can you believe it they showed the men's soccer gold match three times in both Spanish and English but only made mention to the fact that USA got a gold in boxing.
