Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Mmm... Probably the fact that I have the least bit of interest in sports...

It sure would be nice if they could at least put up a schedule that accurately told us what was playing. So far they aren't doing very well. With all this modern technology they cant even keep the schedule up to date correctly.

tolerance: a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward opinions and practices that differ from one's own.
BOC: 4 Including the very last Woot!-off B)C. One of the lucky few.

It be nice if it was accessible even to those who don't pay the extortion rates of cable and live where there is no airwave broadcast. PUT IT ONLINE LIKE EVERY OTHER MODERN COUNTRY ALREADY!

Dressage.

Seriously - horse prancing? I can understand equestrian jumping, but prancing?

I just hope the faux interest drummed up by a candidate's horse being in it does not cause us to miss some REAL sport (like shooting or rhythmic gymnastics).

The greedy, hyper-advertized nature of it just kills it for me. The IOC is like some sort of evil cabal cabal that freaks out any time someone says "Olympics" and sponsors run the show. Add to it the empty seats reserved for that cherished 1% that don't even bother to show up and the whole thing just reeks of privilege, when it should be the game of the people, at least superficially ("The People" could never dedicate every free moment to winning an Olympic medal).

That legally blind archer is something else, though.

Really for me its the fact that to watch any online content you have to have a tv subscription. I have cable internet so that I dont need a tv subscription. Its quite annoying.

Worst part?
NBC's awful coverage. Results are done at 9am, but they don't televise it until 8pm at night?
Show it live! When its over replay it for those who missed it!

I seriously thought about subscribing to satellite or cable for 2 weeks so I can watch the olympics. Up until this point, I had not regretted ditching my satellite tv subscription. Why is there no Roku Olympics channel? The best I've been able to do so far is catch some clips on YouTube through the PlayOn channel.

They could even (and probably would) charge for it (yes I would pay for that)! But noooo.

Brb, my personalized whaaaaambulance has arrived. But honestly, I guess some of us can just kick back and hope they can sort something for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

I'm just hanging out, really.

The worst part about the Olympics is knowing that Jim Thorpe's achievements are not part of the official record, but Kobe Bryant's are.

Not sure if you should post that? This slightly-nsfw-flowchart will help.

The refereeing and the scoring/judging in boxing has been awful. It's so bad that two fights have been overturned on appeal.

Those looking for a stream should search for a site that gets you on the First Row. ;)
