Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

working out only for the sake of working out is just silly. I'm in good shape from working, sports, outdoor activities, and sex

Treadmill, year 'round. In South Florida, you can't run outdoors, it's too hot and humid.

I don't run... unless I'm being chased by bears, lions or land sharks!

There needs to be a "Outdoors in the winter; treadmill in the summer." for us Southerners!

I second this. Summer running in Arizona isn't pleasant.

I live in Pittsburgh, and this summer's turning out to be so hot and humid that I certainly agree with you about running outdoors in fall/winter, and on a treadmill in the summer!

I don't run since I tore my Achilles tendon a few years ago. The last time I ran was a couple of weeks ago I was messing around in my backyard & my sprinkler system came on.

10 quality post! Whoo hoo! I'M SOMEBODY!!!

I hate running on a hamster wheel. It is outdoors for me. Temps in the single digits to 90's, blizzard to downpour. OK, lightening will send me inside...sometimes.

My vote is for running.

On a treadmill, the treadmill pulls you and you don't get to fully strengthen your muscles, and when you're all, "oh crap I do really well on this treadmill, I should go running outside!" You'll tire out way sooner due to lack of proper muscle strengthening since your body now has to "pull you along" as you run unlike on the treadmill.

that was fun while it lasted!
