Anyone know how much this weighs? (I don't do ultra-light, but at this price I might consider packing it for an upcoming trip to Scotland.)

How I would love a deal for one of those pop-up tents. 72" center height would be good, thanks.

The Spec Sheet on this site (after the product description) says the carry weight is 16.9 lbs.

That's kinda interesting since the same page says the shipping weight is 9.4 lbs.

Do these things gain weight after you get them?

(Not a camper.)

Thanks for leaving some for me ;)

This tent is definitely not light weight or small when rolled up. There's no storage bag because everything rolls up inside the attached front mat quite nicely. We love this tent for ease of putting up and taking down, and comfort, but it is a bit bulky when rolled up. Really happy with it.

Everything I've read says "included divider curtain".

Does that mean it is removable? Might be in for one if it is

Here's some reviews on the Wenzel 10 x 8 person tent at Walmart. It looks exactly the same as this, just a little smaller, but priced $10 higher. Looks like a 4.5 stars out of 5 at Wally.

The instructions lists the divider as a replaceable part. So I would assume it is removable in some fashion.

Not a quality tent. Wenzel ends up at BigLots (discount store) all the time. The first sign of a cheap tent is fiberglass poles, which this tent has. Find a tent with aluminum poles, and the tent quality will be far better on all counts. All aluminum pole tents will automatically have better material, seams, etc. Fiberglass=bad. Aluminum=good.

I consider zipper quality as the indicator of a tent's quality, and unfortunately the Wenzel tent I previously owned had horrible zippers that got stuck just about every time I used them. The tent's life came to an end one morning at 3 am when I tried to leave the tent to use the restroom. Zipper got stuck, and in my haste I ended up just ripping the door open because I couldn't get out. Slept the rest of the night with an open tent door, then promptly threw the tent in the trash the next morning. Luckily it was the last day of the camping trip. If you're going to spend $60 on a tent put it toward a quality one (a Coleman at MINIMUM).

Not waterproof. Used this only once and we had rain overnight. There was a leakage from all four corners plus the entry-way.

I worked for Cabela's in the Camping Department and Wentzel is known for not Sealing their Seams. Most Good Tents have a plastic Seal on the Seams of the Tent. Other good Feature is a waterproof floor more dense than the Tent material.

Not a bad price but you may want to seal the seams if they are not sealed.

It got good reviews, overall, at wal-mart, as someone said here. I've never bought a tent nor camped. I won't be using this a lot. Would this be a good light use tent given the size and price? I bought it but if people yell "run!" I'll cancel.
