It's all well and good to see the actualy unit lights up, but i don't know if it will work for my application without seeing the BEAM of produced light.

(On the other hand, the price is certainly right!!!)

Is the item for sale a Icon Irix or Irix II?

The Irix II has sold out. If you're just joining the sale, the only item still available is the purple Irix with concentrated beam.

The best part about living in Louisiana is that I no longer have any fear of wearing bright purple, and I no longer assume anything (besides "LSU fan") about other guys who do.
