My desire to camp died sometime during the year in a tent in the desert.
Too little time I'd love to go but no time to do it.
No camping in South Florida during the summer/rainy season. No fun when you and everything is soaked. I would have to take a trip somewhere else.
My wife and I both detest hot weather, so we tend to camp in the spring and fall. That pretty much eliminates the crowds, the bugs, the heat, and leaves us to gamble on the rain.

I would go camping this weekend, but it's... terrifying? i like nature, but it seems to be filled with danger at every turn. someday, sport.woot, i would like to summon the nerve to go camping. there'd prolly be a lot of flailing & shrieking on my part. maybe an injury. not unlike most of my weekends, i suppose.
