The number 1 reason to buy this bag is obviously to make other people's eyes hurt.

Is this more or less nerdy than a fanny pack?

Looks like it might be money for a disc golf bag. Any word if this will fit 5-10 frisbee golf frisbees in the main compartment?

I WEAR A FANNY PACK.

This actually looks very cool and adaptable to be slung over the shoulder to look like a purse; exactly what every guy wants!

Kidding aside, I am curious at the exorbitant list price of $100. I am in disbelief that someone would pay that much for something that is less functional than a Camelbak pack. They won't wreck your lower back after a few hours, can hold more and cost a lot less.

Looking at a few sites they are selling for $40+ so this is a good price. I got 2 for burningman if I ever get tickets again. LOL

I am guessing that the bottles that are included look something like this. Not convinced that the bottle's top is the best to use while hiking/biking/whatever.

This feature may not be a bad one when trying to be seen by cars while on the roads. Better than those silly reflective vests.

All kidding aside, fanny packs...er...lumbar packs are useful for hikes. The problem with backpacks is heat...you don't want your back covered when you're hiking in 80+ degree heat. The other advantage is you can swing the lumbar pack around to grab your gear vs backpacks which you can sling it over one shoulder but still not as accessible. I carry my DSLR on hikes and a lumbar pack is perfect for that use. And Chuck Norris approves.

However, I will not pick up this hideous color. Walrus Toting Halibut...

. . . can you say "camera bag"??? . . .

As much adverse emotion the title "fanny pack" has I find this tempting. Walking 3dogs of my own plus the 1 or 2 fosters I usually have running around keeps my hands busy with leashes. I usually use one of those drawstring bags to bring all the needed stuff but this looks to be extremely functional. I’m thinking my sister with a toddler and two infants might benefit from this as a transition from the diaper bag for shorter trips too. hmm decisions decisions

I finally and reluctantly tossed my daypack (not a fanny pack, thank you very much) after 20+ years. At the time, I thought its $45 price tag was obscene. My nephews & nieces have always ridden piggy-back using it as a seat. With their weight settled firmly on my hips this way, I hiked both rims of the Yellowstone canyon with my 5-year-old niece riding along the whole way. I'm 5'2", short-waisted, busty (and out of shape), so that's saying a lot; backpacks are just misery. They never fit well. I can tell already that the front strap should be wider, especially considering its rather monstrous capacity. Fully loaded, that tiny strap and buckle probably won't do. Still, I look forward not to having stuff weighing on my shoulders. And the padding on the hips is an absolute must, which this one has. I know everyone is dissing the uncool fanny pack thing, but I view this more as hiking/camping equipment. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I used something very similar to this for the Breast Cancer 3-Day walk, thrice. I've only ever used it for that...so it's been worth that similar price, but it doesn't have the same over the shoulder strap this has...I might use it more if it did.

I won't be buying this because I have a few already. These are nice for day hikes - they hold quite a bit of stuff. This one is actually much better looking than one I have which is a bright yellow color! :-)

Sometime during the aging process my butt melted away and reappeared just above my belt buckle, guess it wanted a better view of things.I'm thinking if a get two of these and extra long teeshirts so I can pull the shirt over the fanny packs,I'll be back to my youthful look. I want it to look natural though I'm not going for one of those Kim K deals. So your thoughts?

Fanny packs are still very useful for their original purposes, which are sports/activity related. It's when they started replacing purses & wallets in everyday wear is when they crossed the line. Other than the fabric, this one looks great for hiking.

I have a problem. I can no longer use my black, typical, laptop bags to carry stuff to work. Why? I have two white cats.

I can't get rid of them, as one came here a year ago and had a #2, a white kitten ("Levi," born during Passover with a small Yarmulke-like mark on his tiny head).

But their fur gets on the nylon mesh and cannot be kept clean. Not very professional looking, unless you work at a pet store.

I have a beige Tilly Endurable bag that works, but it not the right shape for my tablet computer, microphone and wireless keyboard.

I'm not sure if this rig will do, but any ideas would be helpful. I keep waiting for a canvas bag Woot! deal. (hint hint)

acpress.com Not cute, but useful.

SOLD OUT!!!

One day to sleep in and Woot sells out of the aardvark-toned, non-camera bag, fanny packs?

Woot! You're killin' me! (AND saving me money) thanks?!?!

Being disabled, this would work great. I cannot use regular backpacks or anything slung over shoulders. Also being a neat-freak and hobbyist photographer, it would make it easier to retrieve stuff just by rotating pack to the front. I see where it would be great for walking my dog, too. That being said..."lumbar" vs "fanny" is a no brainer...find a totally different word for it ;-)

My only regret is they're sold out. I would have bought one lickety-split!

I was gonna buy one last night except that wavy gray was ugly, so I am out of luck.

Camera bag would be a good use but there is no padding.
