This concerns me. I've been wanting one of these because I have stenosis in my lumbar spine and a vertebra in my rib area that goes out of alignment all the time. Unfortunately I also have torn ligaments in my right knee and torn meniscus (menisci?) and arthritis in both knees. Would I be aggravating one problem to relieve another?

Be glad to. There are newer models out there now. But the reason I like this one (and the other model I saw at Costco for $229 + tax + shipping) is the fact that the table part is not hard plastic. I am sure the newer models have some bells and whistles that this one doesn't. But I prefer to lay on some sort of cloth. The plastic ones have an accessory that you can get that is cloth, but that is just more $$$ to spend.

My question to everyone who already has one of these made by Teeter Hang-ups is should I be on the lookout for the gravity boots. My only concern is some people say this starts to hurt their ankles. Any opinions, comments, suggestions, etc.? I will get them if they are worth it - but $79-$99 is a bit steep.

Damn! I missed it as well. I figured there was no way an inversion table would sell out between 12:01 and when I woke up.... Guess I was wrong. In for one when offered by Woot again!

wow!!! these sold fast! bummed i missed it, been wanting one of these for a long time, have a bunch of messed up lower discs and get nerve blocks frequently, the only other thing that helps for me is traction. which my bf is getting sick of performing manually on me... its pretty labor intensive... ill have to hit up my dr for a rx to get one of these thru insurance. i know some peoples are skeptical but even manual traction really works wonders, especially if you can perform it before the pain gets intense.
ps sorry for poor grammar posting via mobile

Just got mine this Thursday, had it put together in less than an hour. After several cycling accidents with some pretty hard landings on the asphalt, I've been dealing with sciatic nerve pain for quite some time. I had convinced myself that I was just going to have to tough out the pain. Not anymore, after just one session on this thing I felt instant results. The table itself feels very sturdy. I'm a big guy @ 210lbs and already feeling comfortable enough to try full inversion. I should have got one of these things years ago.

Got mine last week and just had the chance to put it together today. Easy to put together - less than an hour for me. Used it for three five minute intervals and already feel the benefits! The only drawback is where to store this thing. Other than that, I am very glad I got one! And I like how the table part is a fabric and not hard plastic. After I used it to hang, I was lying on it flat and watching TV. If you barely bend your knees or move your arms, you can make it rock, almost like a hammock. Kinda kewl!

Mine came missing screws and stuff. Easily obtained but irritating. Looks great and works great. Seems to be doing me some good. Now as to my " refurbished" Electrolux. Little pieces of plastic broken all over, deep scratches. Hit by a truck maybe? Works great though.

so everything works okay? If stuff is brokey or missing, we have people who can do things.
