A nurse told me about this, she has one and loves it. A couple of classes a week of yoga is as upside-down as I feel a need to get.

By the way, how do you refurbish an inversion table?!

Is there a weight limit on this thing? Also, being refurbished, is it safe for the same capacity as when new?

Retighten the bolts that broke the last guys neck : )

Seriously, these things are pretty cool. If I had $150 to blow, I think I'd get one.

It's kind of freaky getting used to the upside down, and controlling the tilt by where you move your arms. My back felt great (better than when I got on) when I was done and I wasn't even having any problems with it, but it felt better (kinda weird, I know).

A bunch of reviews - looks like this was sold at Costco. Looks to have potential...refurb with a 5 year warrantee has to be pretty solid.

I saw that video but didn't post it because that guy seemed kind of out of it and the video quality was terrible.

If you're going to post a video I like the one woot posted on the main site

I also liked the part where I looked up The Owners Manual and Installation Instructions Only to find that woot beat me to it

These are amazing. Great workout potential but the main benefit is just letting gravity do what it does best to decompress your spine, hips an legs. They take up some space in your house but assuming that you have it to spare these are great machines.

I have this brand inversion table - and if you have back issues, you really should consider this. Decompression has been around since Hippocrates for treatment of back and spine issues - and it really works. If you get that "nagging aching pain" in your back from standing or sitting too long, this is great for you, but decompression has been found to work on much more serious back issues as well. I'm sure there are benefits to folks not in pain as well, I am just not lucky enough to be one of those.

If you've ever laid back in your chair and felt a bit of a stretch and thought how nice that feels - this is 100x that.

Work your way up to being reclined. Even a minor incline will help, some people can never get to fully upside down. I didn't have an issue with it, but it made my husband sick. So work up to it.

I have really serious back issues, this hasn't cured me - but on my worst days when I feel like I can't move - it helps enough for me to recommend it. Hope that helps someone.

The pros of these things are that they are great for your back and are kind of fun. The cons: if you have any knee problems it can be bad, if you have some unevenness in the way your back is screwed up, it can make your back worse.
I think the weight limit is 250 lbs. I used to have one and loved it, but when I had knee problems, I got rid of it.

I like the weight limit, so I'm in for one. If hubs can get his weight down to 150 too, maybe we can try a new position....?

Just wanted to step in here and tell folks that these things are also being used in mental health treatment for someone close to me that does it every other day for depression. Not sure how but I would guess it has something to do with blood flow. I do remember seeing it on the Rosie show years ago saying that she uses one for depression as well. Not sure how but it is helping for the client I work with. There is an amazing change in her. Of course she also has meds...I would encourage a Google search for anyone considering it for that reason.

I tried one of these one time and it didn't seem to do anything for my back.

What it did do, is make my blood rush to my brain and cause me to have a pounding headache. The longer I laid and tried to stretch to see the effects on my back, the blood flow to my head just got worse.

I didn't just lay on it and go right down all the way either, it was gradual. Maybe it just feels differently for other people, but I definitely couldn't focus on anything but the fact that all the blood was rushing down to my face.

Seems a bit overpriced. I have this one and it looks bigger than the one being offered (based on the image of the guy whose head is nearly banging the floor). At 6'3" my head gets nowhere near that low. I was lucky enough to nab this one back when it was $94, but I'd still get it for $110.

Seems the only difference is a tiny pillow you'll likely never use anyway (I can't see using mine with a pillow, but to each their own)

You've been put on posting probation for this post

Hello to all. I am a retired Chiropractor and I used inversion tables in my office on many of my patients since the early 80's. Inversion will do wonders for any back condition and especially sciatic pain into the legs. I paid over $225 back then for an inversion table. This is a great price and well worth it! Anyone with blood rushing sensations should use more arm control to gradually work into an inclined position. Many people use this for exercise as well...crunches. I am too old for that. Time for me to by a second table at this price.......it is a no brainer!

REFURBISH probably means it was returned, checked out, wiped off and then repackaged. REGARDLESS... BUY THIS... GREAT PRICE.. I paid much more 10 yrs ago; still use it almost every day, I'm 64, feel 24 and have no more back problems.

Any idea what the shipping timing is like? My experience so far with Woot purchases has been varied. I am moving across the country on August 8. It would be ideal to have it delivered to my new address, but only after I get there (duh). At minimum it needs to arrive at my current address in time for me to get it included in my cross-country shipment.

Shipping has gotten very quick since the site revamp, in my experience. Amazon Prime quick in a couple of cases...

This is a good product at an awesome price. Having to pass this time only due to budgetary circumstances atm, and crossing my fingers that it will be offered again in the future....or maybe that the Colonel would see fit to send me one.

I've had a Teeter for about 6 years, and it does wonders for my back when my work chair wreaks havoc on my back.

It should get to your (current) address pretty quickly. You could always try having it shipped to your future address, then as soon as you get your shipping notice/tracking number, contact the shipper and have them hold it for you to be delivered on a specific date. I've done that many times. Pillows ordered via deals.woot that were to be delivered last week when I wouldn't be home are being delivered by UPS today (when I will be), since I didn't want five large boxes sitting in the front yard/on the porch. Asking them to hold it for a whole month might be denied, however....they're not a storage house. But do keep in mind for future purchases, that any shipper (FedEx, UPS, and even the USPS) will hold shipments and deliver on your preferred date---if you simply ask (either by phone or online.)

May the Crap be with you all!!!

I think it is a Woot flying/screaming monkey. I think they were trying to give the idea that the guy had the Woot monkey in his pocket, and like the change all over the floor, it too fell out of his pocket when he inverted on the inversion table?

In for one. I have been looking at the Teeter Hang Ups® FIT-60™ Inversion Table on the costco site for several months. Not wanting to spend $229 + tax + shipping, I have been waiting around for someone to offer a deal like this. I am a pharmacist and stand on my feet for 8+ hours a day. So this will hopefully do wonders for my back. If not, the next step is to get a new career. Still may do that, but in the meantime, hope this helps!

A friend of mine just bought one (different make) and has been very impressed, so decided to buy. I'm glad this is designed to handle my 6'3", 260 lb frame. I play and practice golf a lot (e.g. practically every day), so hopefully this will help keep my lower back looser.

As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.

"Actually, that information on Russian carpet is wrong. I've seen it up close."

"Lieutenant, where were you in relation to the carpet?"

"I was directly above it."

"Well if you were directly above it, how did you see it up close?"

"Because I was inverted."

Inverted postures in Yoga are great for strength, circulatory and lymph benefits. But you aren't able to decompress the spine and joints because your body weight is still compressing them, just upside down. The only way to effectively and comfortably decompress is with an inversion device like the Teeter Hang Ups Inversion Table!

Thanks for the great comments levans999! And you are correct in regards to refurbished status. Refurbished items may show a small amount of superficial flaws, but All refurbished models have been inspected to ensure that the structural integrity and function of the product remains of the highest quality.
