Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

New York because every schmuck has a NY Yankees hat/shirt even if they have never lived or visited the place. Or watch/care about baseball for that matter.

San Francisco/Oakland. Or Lakers fans.

I'm a Lakers/Patriots/Red Sox fan and I think that Boston has the most obnoxious fans anywhere!

I said LA fans just because of the entitlement feeling you get from them (Lakers in particular), but nothing is worse than the bandwagon that is the Dallas Cowboys

I hate when any of those teams come to town and they try to take over our house, but Chicago is the worst - they spend more time ripping into the opposing team than they do rooting for their own team.

Those cheese heads from Green Bay think they are so good just because they won a few more Super Bowls than Chicago. Jerks.

Nothing is worse than the inflated ego of the subpar Chicago Bears....

Bob Uecker said the Philadelphia fans are so mean, one time they had an Easter egg hunt before the game and they booed the kids that didn't find any eggs!

Philly fans are terrible and boo their own moms at birth and heckle people singing the birthday song to them. HOWEVER, Miami fans are the worst with UM fans constantly touting championships they weren't alive for and their basketball fans attending a pep rally FOR GROWN MEN! A PEP RALLY FOR GROWN PROFESSIONAL SPORTS PLAYERS. You read that correctly.

I have to say Charleston, SC. While they talk a big game, they never really seem to get into any of the sports. They sit quietly and look at you like your insane when you cheer, etc. lol

So wearing a NY hat makes someone a Yankees fan even if they don't watch or care about baseball? Sounds like what you don't like has more to do with NY advertising and marketing campaigns than sports.

And BTW, you may hate NY and/or the Yankees, but no other professional sports team can even come close to what the Yankees have achieved.

Love them or hate them, facts are still facts.

I will both agree and disagree with this. The Dallas Cowboys bandwagon is indeed the worst. In down seasons for the team, I have had so called Cowboy "fans" look me in the eye and deny that they ever had any allegiance to the team, only to jump back on the bandwagon when they start to do well.

However, the poll is what *city* has the most annoying fans. The fans actually residing in Dallas are annoying (no more or less so than most any other city), but are pretty loyal.

Has to be Philly - fans in general are not knowledgeable about their teams & are rooting for teams that are historically loosing franchises. In other cities when the team looses the game is talked about for 1 or 2 days and people move on - in Philly the game is rehashed for an entire week. Comes down to the inferiority complex that the city has from being in between NYC and Washington DC.

What kind of Jab-jab-jab-Jabberjaw wears a Yankees hat if they AREN'T A FAN??

Went to a Jets game and my Aunt (in her 60's) and I were concerned for our safety. SERIOUSLY? Two women sitting alone, not bothering anyone and they tortured us so badly the entired first half - we had to leave. I LOVE NYC but the need to learn how to be polite when it comes to sports.

Your logic is flawed. Philly fans may be annoying passionate, but they know a lot about sports all around. Otherwise why would they follow losing teams and rehash games? They like to talk sports, unlike places like LA where people only go to games to star spot and beat people, no one talks sports at all unless it's the playoffs.

Packer fans are, far and away, the worst, most obnoxious fans on the face of the Earth.

They're poor losers. They're poor winners. Win a game, they rub it in the opposition's faces. Lose a game, the refs have been paid off, and the entire state shuts down and goes into a depressed, angry funk until sometime Wednesday.

Actually, it was AT the Cardinals. Thanks for playing.

Yeah, other team's fans never behave badly at other parks. It's just Philly fans that get remembered:

1) A shooting and riot: 57 people were ejected from the stadium and 24 people were arrested for disorderly conduct during one game at Candlestick Park last season.

2) This year, Bruins fans used twitter to throw racial insults toward Washington's Joel Ward.

3) Tom Gamboa (Royal's coach) was actually attacked by Chicago fans several years ago.

4) Gang members beat a rival fan into coma at an LA game last year.

Sounds like your a fan boy. By wearing any Yankees attire a person is claiming they like/support the team. Even if they are not, thus they are a charlatan. How would you feel if someone told you something like they love your favorite band/team/whatever and they don't even have any knowledge of the subject? Many people would call them a fake and be annoyed. Lastly, the only reason the Yankees are any good whatsoever is because they have the greatest amount of investment than any other team. If every team had the same amount of money they wouldn't be nearly as good.

Dear Woot,

Never open a door for your consumers to insult each other again. We all love woot defaming itself, but it's a different no humor defaming when it involves sport knuckleheads.

I'd say Dallas, but truly it would be collage fans with OU (OKLAHOMA) being some of the worst.
